In 2014, Mike Gladstone and Rob Smith sat down to begin writing some original songs. When the time came to record them, drummer Emmett Ientilucci and bassist Don Torpy added their talents, and Junkyardfieldtrip was formed. With a mix of compelling original tunes and top-notch covers, the band quickly made a name for themselves in the Rochester scene.​
